I could still use that info on the wire color for the crank sensor.
I stopped in our local Bomb dealer they didn't even have a manual.(sombody walked off with it)???
I also asked about the nut size to change the front socket they said Just use a CRESENT WRENCH.
Looks like I'm going to have to get a manual myself.

The wire is in a bundle behind the Oil tank. Best bet is to remove the oil tank to conect it. Fillow the wires from teh cdi box out about 7 inches, to the first conector. On the other side of this conector ( the CDI box PLUG) you will splice the SUNPRO tach signal wire (green) into the CDI box crank sensor wire, wich is black with a yellow stripe on it.

other wires you wont use, on the cdi plug are, +12v from ignition switch = red/vi, input negative = (ground) Blk, coil primary output = Blk/wh, kill switch ground = Blk.

Any questions, let me know. I can e-mail you a copy of the wiring diagram if you need it, but its sort of a crappy diagram in my opinion...

i posted 2 pictures of teh location of the plug on my photo page. Click on the camera to teh left to see them. Its on teh left side, top front of the radiator. Dont mind the bandaid on my finger....

(aparently my page is offline till its approved? The cammera is gone now that i added the 2 photos....?)

Holly $H!t was it ever! Sunday heading south from the parash highlands atv trails into Antigo We were routed all the way around the west side of the hospital heading down towards tigerton to check out the embarass river atv trails. Just north of antigo the farmers fields had small waves on them. There were no fields, they looked like lakes on each side of teh road! Never seen anything like it. I was just up there for service work on tuesday and there was lots of snow... Not hardly any left on sunday....

I wish we would have parked on a side road and walked towards the creek downtown by the yamaha dealer. I bet that place was just about under water? Rained hard for a day then all the snow melted and just no place for it to go fast enough.

Dave....

No worries. I do that so I can find it at a later date in my subscribed threads.
