Default Replaceing the shift forks in your tranny

As you may or may not remember one of my shift forks finally broke while at Glamis MLK weekend. I've had everything back together and running fine for a week now. This comming weekend will be the real test.
Any how I told a few of you that I would put together a site explaining and with pictures the process to swap out your shift forks if you are so inclined to give it a try yourself. I spent 480 bucks on everything. That includes extra stuff that had nothing to do with the tranny. All gaskets, clutch seal, shifter seal, 2 Spark plug boots, 3 Drive sprocket washers, 18 tooth pinion gear, 23 tooth intermediate gear, and the 3 shift forks.
Hope this will help some of you. Shift Fork Replacement

I also hope you never have to go through that. But if anyone does have to and they are poor like me. It's good to know you have options

That's an A+ on your report!

I went through the same thing when my crank broke. It was a lot of work to say the least.

Larry...you are a scholar and a gentleman to say the least! Three cheers for putting that together so intelligibly. Thanks!

Whooo! Glad mine was under warrenty when mine went and by the way that one was completely my goof trying to do a panic stop. Hats off for that fine job of posting that work. That had to take least a three twelve pack and a lot of proper swear words.
