Default Final vote.... Sand stars or Haulers?

hey man I just finalized plans to be at Little Sahara Utah June 11-15, or maybe 16th too!!

when I was at Utah last year, I was running 20" 10 paddle haulers (standard) and boy was I dissapointed. I did some swapping around alot over the past couple years, to the point of trading my 20" 10 paddle with a friends 22" 8 paddle and dragging - the 22" 8 paddle is by far the best tire for my bike I've ran. that tire change got me 4 bike lengths in the 100yrd. flat drag. 22" 8 paddle is what I run now.

.160 is what I use, jump minor too, nothing big, never had a problem.

i found some semi-local (probably would have to be shipped...) "taller" haulers,
im not sure how tall they are (they LOOK to be 22...but might be 20?) id have to find out...
they are mounted on douglas .190 9x9 rims.... (didnt think 9 inch rims fit the ds...?)

im thinking having the taller haulers AND 10 paddles would just massacre my powerband..... (that is somthing i would prolly consider running with like 50+ ponies)

and ill have to check if we are leaving the 4th, or the 7th (i beleive its one of the two) [if its the 7th, i might see you our last riding day]

*the paddle saga continues*

Maybe My paddle shredding has a little to do with the nitrous

The 22" 8 paddle Extreme Haulers I have on my mostly stock DS spin so nice that it is nearly impossible to get a good launch with them. Sounds like exactly what you are looking for.

SM2: you say they spin so its hard to get a good launch? but has a lot of traction? i would assume they would luanch easily, with all the traction?

also how do you have extremes mounted? rocky only carries them for 8 inch wheels

and of course the 8 inchers dont fit the ds hubs w/o the modding of them
