2005 DS650
#11
The changes also seem to happen on every second year when they do come.
2000 - Released the new DS650.
2001 - Minor upgrades
2002 - Released the DS650 Baja - more minor upgrades to model line
2003 - Minor upgrades - if any
2004 - Released the Baja X - lightened the entire model line
2005 - Can you guess what will go here by looking at this nifty chart?
2006 - Perhaps something new and exciting?
Lets see, what di Yamaha do to the Raptor:
2001 Released the Raptor
2002 fixed a MAJOR problem with the transmission
2003 Released some new colors and graphics WOOO WOOO!
2004 Re-Released the same old stuff
2005 I bet they'll re-release the same old stuff, if Yamaha fans are lucky they'll get new graphics & colors for 2005.
2006 This will be another banner year - they're going to re-release the 2005 Raptor with the year 2006 stamped on it!

400 CATDriver check out PRM, they make some High quality skid plates. I am almost positive they make one for the DS. I just picked my X up last week, was very disapointed that they do not have the factory alum. skid plate on the swing arm. The X has the frame and arm skid plates but a cheap plastic skid plate on the swing arm. This thing is realy cheap it hardly covers the sproket or disc. I purchase a PRM for my LT250 quad racer and it was just how I used to make them out of a DG skid plate. THe DG plate was cheap and I used to modifie it so it would hold up to all the rocks in Pennsylvania. When i say the PRM I said wow no more modifing, just buy it and botl it on. It even comes with a teflon chain guide. Check them out they have a web page, I think it is www.prm-atv.com
