When does Bombardier typically realease pictures and specs for their upcoming model year. I am considering buying a Baja X in the next few months but would like to hold off until I can atleast see what if any changes might be coming in 05.

Information just kinda leaks out in the Bomb world, not sure that they have a formal way of releasing info. I doubt there would be any big changes for 05..

I'd say buy now and go ahead and order your Pami clutch springs and get it over with before you burn up your clutch. My '04 is only 6 months old --- manufactured in Sep 03--- and I've already roached the clutch plates because of the weak springs, so, buy the X, order the Pami springs, that way you'll get a chance to have them installed during the break in period. Save yourself a few dollars.

I wish I'd have bought the X now. It comes with a lot of extras that you can't touch for the upgrade price. I don't have a rear skid plate on mine and can't find one in the after market crowd. Kind of limits my trail riding with it.

I don't think you are going to see any significant changes for '05 in the DS or X. This last round of changes will probably be it for a while....Though I did hear the aluminum front a-arms are history, some liability issue with the supplier. So if you like aluminum a-arms, better get one now. BTW I have not had any clutch problems or need for heavier springs, this is my third DS. I have only piped, K&N, and CDI 'd them.

Every change they have done can be retrofitted to the older bikes, no sense holding out for that new grab bar...
