I was wondering if anyone had the choice to trade an '03 Baja in on a '04 or put on a Lectron 46HV (from Mr. Horsepower of course) and intake on the '03? The cheaper of the two would be the modification, but I might be able to swing the trade. I don't owe anything on the '03. I really like the looks of the X but wonder with the mods would I be able to keep up with it? I really don't want the nerf bars and would put my own a-arm guards on anyway.

 

I dont think the 04 has any performance advantage over the 03'. If you plan on getting all you can out of your engine, take off that MBRP pipe! unless you are just trail riding. Go back with stock/modified endcap,or something with disks.


Plastic is cheap. Stay with you Baja.JMO

keep what you have for another year and see what bomb does, there might be another quad.

 

Do the mods. You will just want more power out of the new one and will have to get the mods anyway.

Keep it. Do the plastic change and consider doing your own improvements. The swingarm is the biggest difference and watch for the used swingarms.....always available. Thats the diff.
