I have had the standard AC nerfs on my '01 since I bought it and they are great--fairly simple to install, very sturdy when you stand on them while refueling or have to upright your quad, shine up easily with steel wool. I have White Bros on my '03--big dissapointment, bad design, req'd grinding to put on, not nearly as sturdy as AC, and they run so far forward that if you have front fenders on you have to pull the rubber mudflap of the fender or it will get on top of the nerf every time you turn. Just bought a set of Graydon's from ebay--like the looks of them but that's all I know.
