I got Gas!!!!
My project is underway. Im installing the Mr. Hp 14:1 piston along with larger valves and blah, blah, blah. I know we are supposed to run a 110 octane gas thru with this piston so I have done some searching. I found this
VP racing Ultimate2 It has a motor octane rating of 101 which is a research octane of 108. this is an oxygenated fuel. After lots of questions with their rep, his recommendation is this. This is supposed to atomize much faster and burn cleaner(less carbon buildup) than standard racing pump gas because of the oxygenation.
Has anyone else found this to be a decent fuel? Is anyone even running this? They are even willing to give me the first gallon to test. They claim that this oxygenated fuel will make more hp than alchohol. Any input here would be appreciated. At 9 bucks a gallon, it should drive itself to the carwash after a ride and bring back some dinner.
Thanks,
Gary

Last I checked U-2 is designed for 2-strokes and u-4 is designed for 4-strokes, I thought both had a MON of 92 octane.
I tried VPDRT and it runs hotter no matter the jetting, TOOO much oxygen for me. I think my motor is about 14-15:1 comp, and I dont think I would put straight U-4 in it for drag racing or trail riding, Unless ultimate 4 is mixed with higher octane it WILL make your bottom end oil temp run about 35-45 degrees hotter.. ShaneB tested this theory first hand as we watched his oil temp go up when running straight U-4. He put my mixture in and it colled it down alot. I had no nitro or alky, Just gas. If I were you I would get a second opinion from VP on the octane level of the fuel you are talking about.

Friend of mine ran U2 in his 13.5 comp Z400, it smelled very sweet you could smell it all over the place, plus we didn't notice any Hp increaces. It did feel like the throttle was crisper though but drag racing it, ran about the same with no noticable increase (we didn't rejet it to the fuel though). So for 9 bucks a gallon it didn't seem worth it to me.

VP has a recommendation chart on there web page. For 4-stroke atv with high compression they recommend VP-110
Not your "standard" 110! Highest rated MON of any 110 fuel on the market. Formulated for use in naturally aspirated engines with CRs up to 14:1 MON: 107, RON 113, R+M/2 = 110
This fuel is leaded, not sure if that is good or bad????
