I also run the Woods pipe. It cost a little more but the performance is worth it. The Alba is a good pipe for the pricebut its a little louder than the Woods pipe.

I run a White Bros R4 which is okay but really loud. Wouldn't mind trying that MrHP end cap myself.

it depends on how far of a drag you are talking about. the vforce should beat the ds up to 30mph then you should be able to catch him and pass him.

That's right. A CVT tranny is hard to outholeshot. I let my brother race my quad against a friends 700. The first 25-30mph the 700 was ahead, but caught & passed. The pavement race made it much closer at the beginning though. The 4th & 5th gear really pull on a DS.

Watch out though, once your friend is beat he might want to beat you back. He could get the clutch weights, spring, CDI and dual's which would cost around $1200. Then the V would scream like a raped ape and you would then have to upgrade, lol. Back and forth, who has more money?

Yes the Ds will take the V-force.

The end cap runs $100.00. The ones who use them swear by them.

Depends what exhaust you buy, can cost as little as $500 to $900 for the exhaust. CDI is around $250. Clutch work can run around $300 for a spring, weights and face plate. Of course you could just get the spring, thats all is really needed and that is about $20.

Then there of course cams, they provide big gains, about $300 for those I believe, not sure. Then you got the all mighty 800 cc big bore kit, once you get that and all the above stuff no other naturally aspirated 4 stroke would touch you in a drag race. Buts all of that would cost $3000 probably. But you would have so much power.
