Default Bomb Aluminum a-arms?

They say there is a 99 % chance its cover under warranty but I live in that 1 % range (lol)
The bad thing is I had a race this weekend.

>>I hate the twitchness of the front end and have to do something

If this is the case, I highly recommend buying a good steering stabalizer.

I got the rebuildable graydon and now I have a completely different ride.

Smooth tracking, no worries about getting handlebars jerked from my grip at high speeds.

Its as I expected, the piston has a dime size hole in the top
The good news is they are covering it under warranty

Default Bomb Aluminum a-arms?

I haven't seen any broken a-arms, I'm just passing what my dealer told me last week.
I went in to pick up my '04 carb intake boot and got to talking about other upgrades I wanted to do like the headlight kit and stuff, and he told me that the aluminum a-arms are not available at all - the replacement part number has been changed to the steel part number.

all he said was reliability issues, no real details. he said you can't even get a single a-arm to replace a broken one on an '04 for any reason - he said if an '04 brakes one aluminum a-arm it will have to get two new steel ones put on.

Darn I was looking forward to ordering a set of upper aluminum a-arms to reduce some weight.

I've had no problems with the aluminum a arms on my X and i have yet to hear of one person having a problem with their aluminum a arms. Maybe it was a cost cutting measure for them.
