oil change?

The only problem with synthetic oils are they will cause slipping if you don't buy one designed for wet clutches. Most of the big boys run synthetic becasue they are slicker and they won't degrade in extreme temps like a normal oil will.
You guys need to find a new dealer!!! I only pay $8 a quart and about $9 a filter from my dealer. Tell them guys to go fly a kite.

Shell Rotella T synthetic does not have the friction modifiers in it that cause slipping. It is $12.88 a gallon at Wal-Mart. You want to find a oil, synthetic or dino that does not have the "EC" (energy conserving) rating on it; to avoid the friction modifiers. Many Rincon riders and others are using this oil without problem and the price is right for the benefits of a synthetic oil.
Use whatever you are comfortable with and as long as you change it as you should, you will be fine.

No, by law they cannot specify which oil should be used. I do use the stock oil so as to avoid problems. Oil analysis (LOL), I would like to see them do that!!
