Default Any Outlander buyers' remorse??

I've been looking at quads for a little while now and have narrowed my search down to an Outlander XT or a Yamaha Grizzly. Now I know that these are 2 different classes of machines and I have ridden both of them. I will be using the quad mostly for checking crops and some for plowing my driveway in the winter. If there was a huge price difference I wouldn't even be considering the Griz, however, I can get a brand new 04 Griz, put a Warn winch on it myself for roughly the same money as an Outlander XT ($6300). I'm torn. Do I go for the ride and agility or do I go for the power?? And like the title asks, any owners out there have any comments on their Outlanders?? I've read about the clunking noise in the rear end and the dealer assures me that the problem has been addressed.

I just bought a Outlander MAX 2 seater yesterday. I feels like it is a lot more stable than the Grizzly and rides smoother too. I got it for $6400 OTD.

That dealer also had a 2003 leftover Outlander for $5300.

Im getting a Outlander 400 XT On saturday. its my first ATV. The dealer also sells, Yamaha, and says the Outie will spank a grizzly in the Trail and manuverability class. But that Grizz has a very powerfull engine.
You cant beat the Bomb for ride quality.

What I think really gives the Raptors a bad name is the dual carbs and weak tranny. The Grizzly has neither of these.

If your looking for power the Griz has a lot more than the Outlander. I rode a Quest, the power was AWESOME but had a stiff ride and a lot of vibration. The Outlander is nowhere near weak, but the big 650/660's are much stronger.

Any of you ever put a blade on your Outlander? If so, how is it working? I live in the Great White North and we can get a ton of snow which is where I feel the Griz may have a strong advantage.

Our next door neighboor has a blade and chains. He seems to have no problem removing his snow from his driveway and our neighborhood is on quite the slope.
