Any body get the Baja light kit to work with the Carbon fiber radiator shrouds ?

 

I have aluminum shrouds with my baja lights. The top two mounting spots are mounted directly to the baja lights aluminum cage. It works pretty good. If I were to do it over, I would probably ditch the baja lights and go with some trail tech HID lights. The Baja lights are a pain to adjust and even more of a hassle to change the bulb.

 

I am going with the Trailtech MR16 HID with the Ballasts on the Baja light bracket back side.

 

I have the aluminum shrouds and all I did was take the guards off the lights and just have the mounting brackets. Looks good, and I can just bolt the cages back on if I need to.

i also mounted them with the aluminum shrouds.

 

Check out my pics. I mounted a cheap set of light to my top shock mount bolt. I did also drill and install a small set screw to the light would not turn with shock travel. It is not the most expensive set up but it make a hugh difference.

 

mrds650, i'm pretty sure i have the exact same lights as you, i bought them at autozone for like $30, made by a company called pilot, they have soome pretty cool ones where you push a button and the outter ring lights up, but they were like $50-60

 

I have the carbon fiber shrouds on my Baja X. See pic in my photo page.....I just bolted the carbon fiber shrouds to the aluminum light cages....This isn't what you are talking about it though is it?
