i know people are sayin bad stuff bout ac but how are their skid plates anyone here have them? are they good and do they go on eazy thanks ryan

 

the full body skid is nice, and install easily. the swingarm plate is another story. it's kind of a stupid design, didn't clear the caliper out of the box, and installation is a real pain. but, i don't know how other would be either cause i got the AC. so, in short get the full body, and go elswhere for the swingarm plate. Go Blue

 

I have an armadillo full skid plate from rocky mountain. Fit was good, and the price was way cheaper than any other skid. I still use the stock rear skids as they are light, last forever, and won't bend and be ruined if you hit a rock.

I've got the Armadillo A-arm and full body skids, great price, easy to install, Pro-Armor swing arm skid, extremely heavy duty, easy to install. I think I installed all three in 45 minutes.

AC chassis skid on my old DS worked great, everything lined up perfect. The sides of the skid have about a 1 inch turned up so it protects the side of the lower frame rail. I do like pro-armors tho, they have a big deflector that protects your engine from rocks or whatever, alittle more pricey tho.

 

I have the Bombardier swing arm skid and have had no probs. perfect fit (better be right) $95 and no hard to put on.

 

I have a pro amor swing skid great stuff. I've cow killed it several times and it works great. I make my own frame and arm skids out of alum plate. you can cut it with a circluar saw and bend it with a rubber hammer. I go through alot of skid plates. my quad is 4inches off the ground.
