which carb

which carb, tm45 or lectron, and what is the final cost of each setup by the time you get everything you need with the thumb throttle. also, what is the thumb pressure like with the pump activated on the tm45, does the lectron have or need a pump.

I am running the TM45 and i payed $375 for the carb and i think like $25 for the cable and $8 for the boot. When u order the carb from (cant say the name but pm me and i will tell u) the accel. pump is activated and jetted to ur mods and altitude. The thumb throttle lever is hard to push down but u get ust to it after about 20 rides or so. It isnt a good thing for long trail rides mainly for drag racing and short rides.
The lectron is $550 and u dont need an accel pump with it. This is dyno proven that this is the best performer out of the two carbs. But when u order this carb u have to order a twist or order the thumb throttle lever because the cable that u have to buy will not work with the stock thumb lever unless u do some grinding. But it all depends do u want to save money or go faster.
I am running the TM45 and i love it. You can tell a huge difference from stock.
All together
TM45 - $410
Lectron- $720
Those prices are estimated around the actual price.

Hey scottsdale you can go with a off the shelf 44mm lectron and gain massively over stock and have a very easy to tune carb.Kmduner ran one for ever and so dose bajapilot with great result's and get this( 289 american dollars fast by gast) it don't get no better than that !!!!!! And you can run a motion pro cable for about 65 $ down at bobs used cycl. in phoenix. Later good luck
