good question sandman430, I would call and verifie the curve is same as stock and just bumped up a extre 1000 rpm, and there return policy if your not happy w/ the curve. if all is good, its a great price. it looks like the ones sold on ebay and I know some on here have bought some off ebay and were happy with it if I remember right[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

whats a bad power curve? Don't they all advance the timing and up the rpm to 8500?? The fancy ones are adjustable if you want something to play with? If I remember right the factory one retards the timing as you get closer to the rev limiter to make the bike feel like it is run over its peek power and is time to shift b4 you hit the limiter.

there were some that had a bad power curve, other than that your right they do advance the curve

I just bought one, and Im having a booger of a time getting the stock CDI plug off, any hints on this guys????

Isn't that fun to do. Take one of the other plugs apart to get feel. There is a tab on the bigger side that you have to lift
I still have to take it out and see whats up.

i have that $99 cdi, and i cant say anything but good things, it was the perfect addon after my pipe. I havent had the pleasure of running any different cdi's but i was very happy with mine
