Default 04 snorkel

Is the 04 snorkel "fixed"? Is there no loger a need for hose clamps?

yes indeed, ditto Buttfungus.
I have the '04 snorkel, no more hose clamps, works great, no collapsing at all all the way to 9.5K on my bike.
its only $20 from the dealer.
no need for any further development in the aftermarket IMO.
