American Racer 20.5x10x10 are producing the best et's on asphault around this area. Use the d23 compound and do a light burnout. We run them on the Predator and Drag Banshee.

You are going to want the wheelie bar 1" or less on asphault. Without an extended swing arm
you are better off sliding the clutch. A wheelie bar and stock swingarm usually don't perform, because the wheelie bar cause's the rear to unload the tires.

UBETRUN, with dirt I think you would want more your wheel higher off the ground than on asphault to get a little more weight transfer. JMO and I have not tested this theroy. You don't want to come back on it so hard that you unload the tires (that also plays into the length of it) but you do want good weight transfer. On asphault it seems you will be comming back faster and harder with more of a chance to unload the tires.

I'll be intrested in seeing how you mount the wheelie bar with your round carrier.


SPracer, do you run those on a 10x10 or a10x8 wheel?
I went with a 10x10, but now I'm thinking a 10x8 might have been better.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Ward, mine are 10x8 on the Predator. You can let the Pressure down and get good traction and they will stand up on the top end and increase speed. I really can't say that it's really an
advantage over the 10x10. I was thinking of trying a set of 10x10 myself. Ward you are correct on the wheelie bar, raise it up for dirt and get some weight tranfer.

this is my first set of slicks, but as far as i can tell i can't see where any other tire would hook up any better. i was running 6lbs and really just heated them up enough to get the water off.very pleased!! they pulled my clutch hand off 3 times!!!3 close calls! the wheelie bar worked perfect! ( my first wheelie bar also) i didn't want to say anything til i made sure it would hold up. but i made the whole thing out of conduit, yeah cheap galvinized pipe that you normally run wires through!the whole thing including wheels and bolts weighs 8.4 lbs.easy to take on and off too. got some pics up. tell me what you think!!oh yeah my best time ever without a wheelei bar was a 1.92 60ft 8.80 in the 1/8. now it's 1.68 60ft 8.22 in the 1/8 at 77mph. pretty fast for a stageII on pump gas. if i can figure out the jetting, i'll be on methonal next friday,hoping for a 8.0 flat or better.

[b]I have a 86 LT250R Quadracer,it just has a FMF pipe and silencer,and I sometimes run it up at North Alabama drag strip or out at my house on the street with some of friends who have hondas.I have new shiny white race cut fenders,polished side caovers,wheels,handlebars,and grab bar,my bike runs high 8s wich is reasonable for almost stock.
