Default Alky question

ALKY IS A LITTLE TRICKY TO GET SET UP RIGHT. AN EGT DEFINATELY HELPS.IF YOPU GET AN EGT YOU SHOULD LOOK FOR TEMPS AROUN 1300 DEG. ANYTHING HOTTER AND YOU START RUNNING THE RISK OF MELTING PISTONS. WITH THE ALKY KIT MOST PEOPLE END UP WITH A 300-320 MAIN AND MOST PEOPLE DO NOT RUN A PILOT. ALKY IS ALOT MORE FORGIVING THAN GAS SO IF YOU HAVE IT A LITTLE FAT IT WILL NOT AFFECT MUCH. CHECK YOU OIL OFTEN, ALKY WILL MILK YOUR OIL WHICH IS BAD FOR THE BEARINGS. ANY MORE QUESTIONS LET ME KNOW.
