Default pilot jet

Just wondering how many guys with slight mods like mine. (HMF slip-on, 185 Dynojet, dynojet needle 3rd notch, RWR CDI and K&N lid on) Have the stock pilot jet? I have my air screw turned 2 3/4 out. My local Bomb mechanic did my valve shim change & said that it seemed lean on the bottom & suggested maybe a bigger pilot jet. I never noticed too many guys messing with that so I thought I'd ask if anyone had changed that. Does anyone know the stock size for sure and/or any recommendations on a size to try?
Thanks

The factory was using a .o40 until late 2001, then went to a .045

Most have gone with your mods to a .0475 Pilot screw out 3 turns

I run a .050 because of having advanced timing.

also make sure when you change the pilot, you pick the right one. its the long skinny one, not the starte jet that looks just like the main jet. its in the 40 range too....

many a people have replaced the starter jet in place of the main jet actually, because they look the same, going from a 40 to a 180 makes for some problems!
