I've been to Hot Wells quite a bit. We all call it Bowie. It's pretty cool if you want to ride some fast trails. If you've ridden the dunes before, the race "hill" will be a real disapointment. Imagine your looking at say Comp hill in Glamis....if you know where the whoops stop on the hill, that's the height, and length of the race hill in Bowie. It's nothing but whoops until the very top. If your gonna go, try and go during the week, as it gets chaotic on the weekends. Lot's of drunks riding around with no helmets, etc.
I'm in Tucson, and we do alot of riding in Rosemont Junction, Happy Valley, Charlotte Gap, Reddington Pass, Ceneca Ranch, Soniota. We like to do a long ride to a place called Muleshoe Preserve. It's about 60+ mile round trip.
I would definately be interested in a Arizona DS gathering!!! My riding buddies and I have a tentative Cinders trip planned for August. If anyone is interested, your more than welcome to come with us.

Of course Raptors are invited!!! We've got just about every type of sport quad in our group, except for the new 450R. Will probably only be a matter of time till one of them shows up.... I'll post an invite when we solidify some plans. I have my 14 day old baby girl to contend with for a bit, so I'm out of any weekend trips. Once the wife and I feel like we know what we're sort of doing, then I'll feel comfortable to leave for extended periods. Gives me an excuse to tear down the DS, and do some wrenching. I found a Bolt in the back of my truck, and I have no idea where it goes. LOL

Desertbomb, 201 and 207 are in reference to the mile marker on the highway. Be careful out at 201 they are coming down hard on that area. It is supposed to be closed. The white no tresspassing signs are all over from Goldfield road to the highway, and all the way down the dyke to Ironwood.

Do any of you go to that ET Motorpark South of A.J.? I live a few miles away, and never even tried it. $20 a day kind of sucks, I'm used to riding for free in the desert. I think I'll have to check it out once though.

Rolls is a great place to ride.

Desertbomb,
The riding at Bartlett is alot like the terrain at Rolls. I like it because there are so many trails that end up at the river, and cool off a little in the water, or with a cervesa.

Tacookaz, you mention Martinez. Are you talking about that old mine loop out towards the Florence way? I haven't done that in a long time. Used to be a neat ride alot of rocks, and checking out the old mines. Have you been to the Coke Ovens Too?

I've never been to ET, but I have been to Speedworld, and Canyon. Speedworld is a blast, and it's probably not too much of a drive for you. I ride at Pima Motorsports Park in Tucson. It's a pretty decent track, with some pretty fun jumps, etc. I'm thinking of trying out the Bomb on it, as I usually run my 400EX.

ET is three miles from my house. I have been seven or eight times. I go to practice jumping. Nice place to learn.
