Who's making TVI swing arms?

Annihilator,
Ahmen on the the idea of the fourms are here to speak out trials and truths. Your right TVI got one customer because Sam Coe had a bad rap (me) I was looking into thier big bores because at the time I never heard of TVI.
Now for the safety issue. Maybe these posts can alert the sellers/manufacturing companies to further test and address the issues that can cause someone to cripple themselves for life. Sorry to hear about all your wrecks. You have made me want to inspect my swingarm from now on end before I ride.
The Bomb I know your friends with MRHP, have you tried looking into his swingarm. Is there any reason in paticular why your looking into TVI's?

Cardiac, I just wanted to let you know that when I called Gary about getting that swingarm, I told him that I like to air it out a little. He said it wouldn't be any problem. Now, I even wnet as far as to Have that rear shock completely rebuilt and put a heavier spring on it. I had Works do it for me custom.
Now, for DS Sleuth. When somebody says they are going to take care of something even if by chance you did something to it, you should stick to your word! It is called Honor amongst Gentlemen. Squatcher admitted that he told Gary that the welds were ground and what not and yet Gary said go ahead and send it and I will take care of it. If Squatcher even had any Idea that Gary would charge him to fix it he could have saved the time and the Money and had it fixed locally!
Now, DSXBEAR, I know you are a buddy of Gary's and do you know the saying, " What you don't know can't hurt you"? Well if you knew what some of us know you would be lying in the Hospital now in the ICU! I like Gary alot but he is a SALESMAN first and foremost!!! Kind of like some Kirby vacuum salesman I once knew. I can't get into it anymore than I have until I talk to some individuals. but Gary I know you are reading this, and I want you to know pubilically that I know that you are a good person and you have done a lot of good things for some members and also myself, and for that I thank you. BUT! Pandora's Box has been opened and you know how that story ends!

Wow... this has gotten really interesting. Here I am thinking it was me.
Punisher I have had some talks with Gary and as I stated before I don't believe he is a bad guy but I agree, he is a great salesman. He defintely has the gift of gab. Punisher I'm very curious about your story. I have spoken to Gary and he has mentioned you (not in any negative way at all) and several other DS owners that seemed to be content with his products. Many here has said many good things about TVI that is WHY I went with his kit. Even Bob at Craycraft who specializes in Raptors has mentioned good things about Gary in general. I can see why this TVI thing has upset several forum members here.
When I first got my DS I thought there was going to be a huge aftermarket following. Then the Raptor came out and in it's infancy of the new Yammaha, there was a slew of Raptor parts and barely none for the DS. Today thankfully there is more for the DS than there was back in 2001 and there are some now "engine builders" aside from just Ron Wood Racing. There were also a slew of motor mod companies that screwed us starving for more speed DS owners wanting more power out of our machines. Knutz concepts was one of them. Believe it or not I had my motor out of my frame ready to be sent to him. I had a bud in PA that sent him his motor and never got it back. It was blown from a nitrous incident in which he confided in Knutz to repair, but he never got anything in return. Sam Coe had some nightmare stories as well. I was also looking into them for more power, but again the forums helped me steer clear from them. I think I've even PMed Punisher on some details on his kit.
I'm glad my DS is running. There is no leaks, my oil seems fine, I'm not blowing any head gaskets or any other releated big bore problems (yet) I have read that others had in the past. My only gripe is that my expectation of the kit by the "salesman" isn't up to the perfromance upgrade he led me to believe and now has me wondering if was worth it.
I've always felt real comfortable here in the forums and I always looked at any and other DS owners as brethren here, but lately that image has been tarnished by biased views and people shooting you down giving honest opinions. I thought this was a place where people can express good and bad things about products for others to go get or stay away from.
