I have been looking around online for rear axle carrier seals.couldnt find any. did somebody on here say you could get them at local parts houses? I want to ride next weekend, and do not want to be down without seals.

Thanks!

I need to check mine today after I spoil the Wife this morning.

Helped a buddy pull his axel on his 400EX and it was so bad on his bearing carrier that the whole back end finally broke loose and the axel was rattling in there. He destroyed the bearing carrier and the sprocket hub was also messed up (where it goes into the bearing carrier.) I guess this is all part of the axel so, he needs a new axel now too! Looks like it will be about a $700 repair. We did the labor so at least he doesn't have to pay any more for that but, it was enough to kick me in the butt and get me to check mine.

Boy! That was fun

Couldn't get the brake rotor over the retaining ring spot. I understand their is a o-ring/washer in there??? Couldn't get that thing to come out

I was able to pull the axel enough to put some lube in there so, with me only riding in the sand, it should be good for a while now.

What I did was undo the chain, got a piece of wood hit he axle on the left side, it knocked the rotor loose, and the axle came out, I hope you didn't damage the O ring trying to get it out.
