hey i'm just posting to ask what you guys think of the ds . I just got my very first
ride on one last week and loved it, anyways there were three at the shop all used
and none would start w\out a jump but the one i drove ran extremely well after warm-up
well i want one but don't know what to expect as far as reliability (my ski-doo sled motor just blew up)
and they aren't coming out w\ something slightly smaller maybe lighter are they?

Great quad and excellent engine. Same engine that has been used in the BMW F650 for years. It IS good enough for BMW!!!
Sounds like weak batteries on the ones you have seen. I just replaced mine after 3 years! Can't beat that!

Best quad I've ridden for my needs!!! Which are;
- Desert
- Dunes
- Baja Mexico
Not drag racing, as I'm not a hill shooter. But I've heard it does okay.
It's heavy... but solid as a rock, hence the reason I use it for Baja and Desert.
Add some quick bolt on goodies... and it makes an awesome quad that much better!!!
Plus...
It's 4 stroke, has a MONSTEROUS chain, killer suspension.... etc.
(Can you tell I came from a Yamaha Banshee... that gave me woes when I pushed it hard!!)
I LOVE MY BOMB! (hmm, exlnt shirt idea!)

has seen the batt. goes dead if you don't ride e'm enough which shouldn't be a big deal for me.
the one i drove seemed pretty snappy but hit the rev limiter really fast are there rev boxes avail. for them?
also whats a general list of perf. parts or is it the usual like pipe,filter, jet kit, ect.
