How easy is it to adjust the valves on the DS? I got a shop manual ordered but its at least a weeks time from getting here. The dealer said 2 hours labor to do the entire 10 hour initial inspection which isn't bad, its just a hassle to take the thing all the way in there and then have to pick it back up.

Ok let me ask this in another way.......no one out there has adjusted their own valves? You have not yet done it or have had the dealer do it?

When I say right tools for the job I am talking about many different tools to make a job easier and specialty tools not to mention home grown gadgets and modifications. So I will not break it down to individual tools ( my tools and box replacement value is probably around $35,000) I am sorry I can't be more helpfull but in my opinion you should know yourself and your tools capabilities. Now don't be afraid to dig into anything, that is how your skill and tool selection grows. If you pursue tool growth it is a good idea to find one of the major tool companies and start a relationship ( most are pretty knowledgable ) my personal likes are snap on sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers ,with everything else just best product for price.
