Default Carb leaking gas-2001 DS

I recently had my DS standing on it's grab bar while installing skid plates. Ever since then
the hose below (and attached to) the carb has a slow drip of gas out of it. Any ideas?

Bartlett was dead on. Time to take the carb off. Better use vise grips on the screws to get them loose before you finish the job with a x-tip. Better yet, while you have it apart, replace all of those bolts with stainless steel. A good investment for only a few bucks and a trip to the hardware store. The stock screws strip easily.

You def have some particles in the float seat. Take the float off and make sure to watch the needle and pin that slides out easily after the needle seat screw is removed. Then clean everything out. Be sure to clean out your tank and fuel line and ensure that there are no particles left in it. Our carbs are very picky about small particles. Im having that problem now myself and taking the carb apart is routine

Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I guess turning it on end dislodged some dirt in the tank. I'll add it to my 'to do' list, along with fixing my rear rotor, caliper, and tightening the chain.
