Default "HELP" WHICH CARB IS THE BEST????

LECTRON, TM 45 or which. I have a stock DS with a slip on FmF pipe. Money is not the issue as much as how much performance gain do you get? I have spoke with Mr. Horsepower about stock jetting and have it dialed in. How much more power will you get with a different carb and filter alone with no internal changes???

If money is not an issue then I would definately say go with one of MrHP's Lectron setups. Less tuning, less thumb pull, slightly more power than a properly tuned TM45. A stock bike with end cap, ported intake, and MrHP 46HV will make 51-52 HP on the dyno.

Well truley if money is no issue then fuel injection is the best no carb can come can match its preformance !!!!!! and the power up is so smooth not one of the other bikes i rode at sand mt cane close to feeling smooth as the fuel injected bikes no comparision

Fuel injection would be the way to go if money is no object. Has the price come down on it yet?

Money is not an option from 350 to 700$. How much is EFI??? I did read all the previous posts on the lectron and maybee I am looking for some differences you guys have seen between the stock and lectron or 45. Like you can pull fourth with stock sprocketing up competition hill at glamis or st anthony where previous you could only turn third.

Does anyone know what the carb alone will do for performance on the hill. Basically what does 5 hp and 12 lbs torque do in the sand??

Between the three options that DS650 owners now have, the performance returns really go by the price, the more you spend the more you get. If you've got the bucks go for the EFI, then you wont have to spend much more to get the turbo, since you'll already have almost half of the kit. The Lectron is cool, but the EFI, that's something else entirely!
