Thank you that is exactly my point. That DS is the quickest 4-stroke off the line I have ever seen and it will even beat a few hill shooters out of the hole. It is like your @ full speed almost instantly.

I wasnt there on easter weekend but I was there every weekend in may so I am willing to bet I have been down at the dunes as much as you have been. Marios bike is the fastest fourstroke that I have seen run in Utah. MajorEcho was there friday and I didnt get a chance to see his bike run but Mario did so ask him. Since all the fast fourstrokes in utah are always broken down I have been racing 330r's and ported banshees when I feel like it
Anyways I really dont think you can tell us how our bikes where running since I had raced mario 15 times before you guys ever showed up. I was out of nos the entire time your group was there, so you never got to see my bike run fast.

Anyways great running bike Mario, I think it would be even harder to keep up with you had you starting tunning a little earlier.

 

I didnt see you run. but i saw mario and the shees. I never said you didnt do 50 but i seriously doubt the conditions wre right for mario or the shees to run 50.
Lets go to the hills or desert and play. Sometimes its not about being the fastest its about being prepaired. Mario will probably agree he wouldnt want to take me on across the desert or up a two track mountain trail. NOT everyone is about going up a hill. To each their own I am gonna go get POUNDED!

 

Mario, it was nice to finally meet you and your wife hopefully next time I can stay a little longer, but the weekend was crazy busy ( in fact I'm just now getting back in town) and that was all I could squeeze in. You do have a very fast bike and the torquyest (sp) naturally aspirated DS I've ridden, on a turbo or Nitrous it would be sick. I have twin 100lb/hr injectors that will be here next week so running out of fuel will be a thing of the past. My next trip to LSU will be the Saturday June 26th.
Hopefully I'll be all good by then. With the exception of running out of fuel on the hills the bike did great as a duner with no problems whatsoever.
DsA- your bike was very impressive on pump gas and I think you got bang for your buck! Just pick up another Ds for the little lady so she'll let you ride yours![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
Air- good to see you again, sorry we didn't get a ride in but I'll be down another time or two befor it gets too hot, I really wanted to see that TVI 720 on Nitrous.
And to everyone else , sorry the timming didn't work out to meet up and race but there will be more opportunities very soon.

 

I might try and make it up that weekend. I have a Nos system that will be hooked up asap. Im sold on the idea ( installed properly). I need a 30 shot to tide me over till I save for a Kms turbo. I hope to make it down the 26th. I still cant wait untill that bike of yours is shocking them drag banshees when the boooost is turned up..

Well I think that I will try to make it that weekend as well and bring the trailer with me this time. We will have to plan a little better this time so we can spend some more time tearing up that hill.

Major, Yea she sure does like that DS. I am thinking that I might keep the banshee this year and if all goes well pick up a different quad next year. Maybe another DS or a TRX to play with we will see. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

HE runs a 17 tooth front, and is fast out of the hole, man that is some serious torque!

You are makin me nervous with that NOS Mario!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] I think you should hold off till you get that Turbo system, your engine wasn't built for NOS or at least that is what the Preacher told me. You should really have a NOS piston and you are running some loose tolerances. Your odds of blowing your rings are pretty good.
