Can someone help me. The pilot screw in my carb was siezed and when i got it out i buggered up the threads. Dose anyone know the thread size and pitch? I think it is 7mm but I can not find that tap at any local machine shop or anywere else. I some please tell me what the thread is befor I order a tap?

The easiest way to know the thread, is get a new pilot jet, and measure it.
Measuring the major dia of the thread, will give you the first number, and it will be metric, and should be very close to nominal (whole number), like 7mm or 6mm.
Then measure the distance, with a calipher, from one crest of a thread to the next crest. This is the pitch, which gives you the second number. If the distance is about .04", thats 1mm,.... if its about .06", that will be 1.5mm, and so on. Youll end up with something like 6mm x 1,and thats the tap size. If you post what you end up measureing, ill be able to help you figure out what tap to get.

Itll probably cost more to ship than the tap costs, so you may want to brouse the catalog and see if theres other stuff you want.
