760 on ebay.
Add 15% tax on whatever price you see on Pami's web site. Then!! Add for freight . . . Then!!! Add for the exchange rate. 1 Euro is costing about $1.25 (been a while since I checked current exchange rates). So, 1800 X 1.15 = 2,070 + freight (remember you have to send your cases in for boring too!) = 125. Subtotal = 2,195 X 1.25 exchange rate = $2,743. NOW you have the parts, you need to put them together (OR, pay someone to do it. . . $500 easy!). I come up with $3,243. That price doesn't include any of the head work the engine has which is probably worth another $2k easy.
Once all is said and done, you can probably sell your engine on eBay for about $900 to $1000.
So: $3,243 + $2,000 (head work, cams, etc.) = $5,243. (Estimated cost of 760 as listed on eBay.)
Sell price of 760 on eBay = $4000 - $900 for your stock engine = $3,100 net cost
No one ever said this sport was cheap!
Oh, and you aren't done yet either. . . carbs!!!
