I run a stage 2 RWR, and I have to say you might want to play with jeting a bit. Once I was tuned in my DS in it was running very well. I raced Eaglecollector (hope i spelled that right) though he did beat me ever race my DS still manged to stay in the race to make it fun. But no stage 1 type quad has beat me yet in a drag race with my stage 2 and most are not even close.
I run a stage 2 with air box removed, snorkel to air cleaner on.
Main jet 157.5
Needle one clip from the bottom
This set up works for me duning and in the desert..no water to worry about in the desert so not having a airbox is not that big a thing.

I also run the RWR stageII kit. On the dunes the tires make all the difference. I was running SandStars, and doing quite well untill I raced a buddy with the RW stageI kit running Haulers. He spanked me pretty good off the line, and he couldn't beat anybody before he started using straight paddles. We both have a dead spot right off idle, not sure if it's the jetting or what since we are using the same carb. If anybody knows the remedy for this, please let me know.
