Default new Edelborck carb on their web site..

It has a new application on their site for the Polaris predator. Isn't that the same carb as a DS? If it's an upgrade from the factory carb on the Polaris it should be good for the DS to.. right? Maybe BillDS650 with his one and only carb can take some measurements and compare to what they are offering for the polaris...?? please..

It will not work on the DS. The DS650 needs a different throttle cable bracket

That seems like a fairly easy thing to fabricate, is it the same size carb as you have or is it different? I like the Edelbrock carbs, I would like to see it work...

If you like the Edelbrock why not just go with a Lectron? The Edelbrock is based on the Lectron.

I'm just relaying what the Edelbrock rep. told me and from what I've seen comparing the two.

I think the difference may be that the Edelbrock carb has an accelerator pump like the factory carb, the lectron doesn't.

And the Edelbrock will actually open without being polished.
