Again, you really need to decide how much you want to spend if you want advice.

You say the Mr. HP 720 is expensive but, then say why not go bigger than the 680 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

I wouldn't go larger than 680 on the stock jug. If you want to go larger you'll need to look to HP Research, TVI or Pami.

Of those, I believe Pami is the best (partially because it is most prooven.) But, you think HP Research is expensive, wait 'til you start looking at Pami prices [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

I know there are a lot of people running the TVI sleeve without a problem but, I really don't like putting a sleeve in a motor that isn't designed for one.
The HP Research kit is coming out in Mass Production soon. I would steer you to that but, like you say it is expensive and I would like to see some of the mass production jugs run for a while first.

Your buddies jug can either be re-coated for stock bore, bored to 102mm and coated or sent in for a sleeve core. Otherwise, sell your jug to him and buy a HP Research jug or a Pami kit.

I am considering the MisterHP 730 kit myself. He seems to know what he's doing and puts in alot of time testing and dynoing different combinations to see what really works. If he puts it out I would trust that it's a good product.

the 720-730 seems to be the best bang for the buck, 105 cylinder and everything else is stock. go to the stroke and it gets to be a few dollars.

you ppl anoy me!!! how mutch better can you get i mean unless you race who cares.for trail stock is fine.
it's so mutch money! and y just so you can say i beat my buddys quad, wupty dee who gives a crap...

It's the fury of the need for speed. Why buy a rice rocket that can do 300 K, when the fastest u can ride it is maybe 250, then start puttin pipes and crap on them as well? It's the need for speed and thats all i got to say

For the most part I agree with you. IF I only rode trails or little dunes, I wouldn't see a need to modify.

Sand robs HP big-time. Some of the hills we have you can't get up on a stock bike. If you don't modify and you are riding with a group of guys that has modified, you won't be able to keep up.

Sand Mt., NV has cost me a lot of $$$ in mods. The drag hill is right in front of camp and it is a lot of fun to go over and shoot the hill with your buddies then take off from there to go dune.

The power I have now I really enjoy when I dune. There are a number of bowls I can really open her up in and the thrill of the extra speed is awesome!

If you ride tight trails or hard surfaces, you probably don't need to modify but, once you ride some of the big dunes you'll know what I mean about the added power. Yeh, you can still enjoy the trails but, if you like the hill climbs, you'll want the power.

We have some sand around here but this sand I speak of is at the lake fronts. We are on the praries, but we soon look to be doing some trips to some of these dunes. And we drag lots there must be like 20 quads from around here alone. It's a blast
