Somewhere on their websit they talk of leaded fuels will eventualy give a false rich reading. Best to use it for reference then remove sensor until you want to check things again. I'm going to check this out some day soon and I'm useing sunoco 110 leaded.

I actualy read that info for leaded fuel on the original posters website, the jet4power site. I assume all the 02 sensors would react that way.

My intentions would be to install it. Use it for wide open throttle runs up the hills. Tune the quad, remove the sensor. The actual run time in the quad would be minimal and I would keep a new sensor around to double check the readings on the original sensor from time to time.

Short of Dynoing the quad from time to time I see this as the next best alternative. Plus I'd be getting readings from where and how I actualy run the quad.

I run "87-91 octane unleaded only" because I trail ride a lot more than I race. Besides, my racing is only for campfire bragging rights....

20 minutes after starting the motor at St Anthonys, I was dialed. Pullled Choke Cherry at 6,300rpm in second with a +220lb rider. Not bad for a basically stock bike. I could have launched off the top if I had the skills....

I wish I had some different power jets on hand for my Lectron to "tweak it" at St A, but it was running far better than anticipated.

The o2 kit has been the best bacon I've ever spent to help me keep track of my jetting with the Lectron. But the others folks bring up good points, if you run leaded or alky, you got to pay more attention. Cams and piston go in this week, and hopefully I see as good an increase as the past MrHP parts...

Careful not to launch to far or you'll be going back down the other side. A fun jump that would be but if I get much higher and farther than my avatar pic, I get skeered.

I've bought and installed my sensor. As i thought I'm running a bit rich in all throttle ranges. I'll be testing it better at Pismo in a couple weeks where the temps will be in the 70's instead of 90's-100. Should see it closer to optimum then. Depending how much richer it shows at pismo will determin if I change jetting or not. Most of my riding is at Dumont so I may wait till then. It's at .900 at idle and around .940 at WOT, we'll see what exact sea level and cooler temps bring.
