Darn, I guess that leaves me out 'cause I sure am sceered after what I saw!!!!!! j/j
Even though there wasn't a big turnout the bars were set VERY high (or low ) in the 4-stroke classes.
0-691cc bolt ons 5.0's
0-691cc modified 4.7's
open 4-stroke 4.6's
Honestly I never thought I'd see any 4-strokes below a 4.9 without help, and would have bet none would be in the 4.6's even with a 20 shot.
Track conditions were second to none, getting one packed down and still hook up GREAT is something you don't see very often. Good job.
Again I'm most impressed with the people. Although some of the fastest bikes in the nation were there you never heard anybody brag, trash talk, complain, or put anybody else or their bikes down. They were more than willing to help out with any problem or answer any questions you had.

I am in on a sept race. What is needed to have raptors, yfz's, trx's, predators, cannondales, atk and what ever is supposed to be fast show up. I love the ds's, but I want to see what everyone else has also. I would like to see some more on the bottle, some on the boost...What ever, I just want to see the baddest of the bad in person. I wont have anything for them but a camcorder. By then, I will have a wheelie bar, or an arm or both, and lower VE to help me get down and let er' eat. Its funny how yamaha's color is usually blue and the ds's is known as yellow, but I think with this latest event, yamaha will be remembered as YELLOW. I just posted some pics, just click the link in my sig. Should take you there, not many yet, but more are coming.
I went through some of my time slips tonight, looks like my best et in 300ft was 5.5+ and my best mph was 56.7+
Is that average or less for end cap, carb, intake and 300lb rider w/ no dirt expertise or wheelie bar? I made lots of runs in the 5.6-5.7 and a few in the 5.8, and almost all were in the 55mph+, of corse I really screwed up a few also.

I wanna know why Eric was running his fron fenders for the races, does the dirt out there really get kicked up by the front tires? Out west I've only rode once with my front fenders on and the only time it was a problem not having them was at a water crossing. Those things would cut a few pounds (not to mention wind drag) and have got to be the easiest thing to remove - heck I removed them!
