hey all just wondering what u guys have got for your top speeds on your ds's my max is 82mph on GPS no mods except for 22 inch tires and 15 tooth front sprocket 82mph at rev limiter

 

k everybody looks at these type of posts about top speed why does hardly anybody ever reply???????????????????????? common people

 

Because it doesnt change, gears and rev limits are the only thing that changes it.

Now, ask how fast your quad accelerates, and you will get responses. Although, there is no way of measuring it without a dyno.
You could also ask about 60, 300, and 600 foot times. That would get responses.

Its been asked a thousand times, with a thousand responses.

thro some may not think top speed is that importent its still nice to know that you can go fast[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]....for the sake of not haveing this form end up being one of thros useless 10 page threads were people just fight back and forth.. my top speed is will over all of yours...lol[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

15 tooth front and 22" rears equal 16 tooth front and 20 rears. The max speed will be very close to stock. I have the exact same set up and my top speed is 81-82 mph gps.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

are you sure the 22" with a 15 tooth is
the same as a 20" with a 16,

do you mean top speed or performance/acceleration

 

well i no that for sure IT ISNT THE SAME AS STOCK I GOT 8 MPH MORE with 22 bearclaws and 15 tooth front sprocket

that large of a gain does not compute but maybee it worked for you. It should be very close. I hate top speed questions. Any exacts on the math would be appreciated.

 

Well I shut it down at 88mph according to my GPS. That is with 15 front 22's rear. Just look up the gearing calculator it seems to be right on.
