low rpm sputtering

Default low rpm sputtering

2004 DS650 Baja X second gear when u pin it all it does it sputter u have to get it to about 3500rpm before u can pin it and have no sputtering........ on top end it runs awesome but on bottom end it sputters this is fixed if i take my air box lid off so is it my jets that i need to change?? Im 2450 feet above sea level

no its been like this since i got it about 2 months ago thought maybe it was normal when i first got it but i think the jets needa be changed maybe the pilot jet?? and i havent touched anything

and its in every gear it sputters when u just pin it really fast not just in second

its probably good to go threw the carb first. try that.

when I was having that problem it was rich. what main do ya have in and where is the needle? elevation?? It may work to just raise the clip on the needle a bit but most likely have to change a jet.

2500 ft I see it now. With no mods I had to drop the needle down one to the second to the top clip. Use the stock main jet. Get a slip on and then move the needle to the second to the bottom with the stock main. Better yet get the end cap from hp research. I am at 3500 ft.

The elevation hear is 2450 and i dont no the jets but they are all stock

alright im taking it in for a tune up at a local dealer ill have them do it for me
