shouldnt need any new jetting , but let your bike
be the judge of that.

you may need an adjustment or two, you are increasing the airflow!

The stock DS air filter flows just as good as a K&N. No jetting changes should be needed.

Dsengineer:

Where do you see the gain with going with a K&N then? Cleaning easier than the stock or isn't there a gain from your opinion?
Thanks for the help,
Kaz

Kaz,

the gain may not be when they are both new but
wait a while and clean them a few times and then the k&n is
hands down better with flow and ease of cleaning

That's what I was guessing. Would you go with the pre-filter or maybe use the pre-filter from the stock setup?

the stock one isnt even cleanable( I gess you could try but its not recomended) , you need to buy new. from some old post the stock performed .02 hp differnce than the KN but the KN can be washed and oiled over and over, so I gess thats where your getting your gain.
