Default BAJA 2003 sag

My Ds is in the shop and I ordered some works shocks. They asked what the factory sag was? I cannot check because the engine is pulled. Does anyone know how much sag they get when sitting on the bike???I want to lower my ds 2 " and they need this number from stock to set the works shocks. Any help would be very appreciated. I weigh 200 lbs. If ya know your sag with factory baja shocks please list your weight also. thanks for the help.

Factory sag will be different depending on how much you weigh. Why did the shop ask this? All works needs to know is the make of your bike, Stock or aftermarket arms and swingarm, your weight and riding style. The sag will be set by you. With you on your quad with your riding gear on standing over the footpegs you should have about 4in of sag.

Default BAJA 2003 sag

629$ steelers 5/8" with res. I told tom at works that I wanted the bike 2" lower than stock and he asked what the sag was??? I am new to aftermarket shocks so I am doing what he asked. Zero preload drops the bike a bit?? He did ask my weight and type riding. I asked specifically that the bike be set up 2" lower. He did not say anything about that being an adjustment I would make. Is it a matter of adjusting the spring because the steelers are not adjustable compression or rebound wise. Fill me in. Thanks.

Sag is adjusted with preload. He should be telling you were to set sag. Maybe its just some miss communication.
