Default Stroking the DS

i was just letting you know the stroked engine worked great, no oil or vibration it all worked great except the exhaust pipes and that will just be some simple adjustments. the turbo would be over kill for most.

Entomber, I don't think your head will affect the motor build part of it. The big stroker has to be done in house at Eric's. My stroker kit was somewhere around 1500+piston+labor+misc oil, antifreeze, gaskets, etc...

The small stroker can be done by anyone with good mechanical skills!

Default Stroking the DS

222,

I actually did speak with Eric today. He was upfront and told me it's rather pricey. I'll be looking at 2k + for it to be done. The whole crankshaft and rod is like 1500.00 and tear down, gaskets, etc, etc + Shipping of a 100 pound motor. I'm a torque man, and I always felt the DS had lots of power but could always use more torque.

How much is the smaller version? I was supposed to call Eric back but I'll do that tomorrow. I'm getting a new piston from him and I want to make sure everything coincides. Who knows I might just ask him to do it and put the whole damn thing on a credit card and be done with it.

What would a 730 cc + longer stroke put the bike at?
