Default Carb trouble

I posted a message a couple weeks ago on some carb problems. My 01 DS didn't get much fuel to the engine. I cleaned it out really good with carb cleaner and it finally will start, but not very easily. I nearly have to run the batterery dead to get it to fire. It is the the spark, the carb is getting fuel. I am positive of that. There is excessive amounts of fuel comming out of the back of the carb, in a mist. If i put my hand of the back of it, and run the starter, my hand is covered in fuel.

The next step is to find a rebuild kit for it, does anybody know where I can find one.
Any help is appreciated because I am trying to sell it and its hard to sell a machine that wont start.

By putting your hand on the back of the carb as you try to start it is like chocking the crap out of it. You should have lots of fuel onm your hand when you do it that way. You are getting spark cause you said it will start. My guess is.....you have very low compression. Or....you have a leak in the intake boot between the carb and the head.
Once you do get it running. Spay WD-40 or carb cleaner all around the intake boot and see if the motor stumbles. If it does...then thats your problem. If not... do a compression test.

well you might need a larger pilot jet, that helps with the starting, but it sounds more like you need to adjust the valves.
