Was the problem resolved? I wonder how much a new gasket would run. I didn't use any sealant but if you had to use one what would you use? Is Gary okay from that accident?

 

i noticed mine leaking about a month ago....not very much, its not very noticable unless u are really looking for it. gary told me to torque the bolts to 50 and see if that helps......ds650 king, did retorquing yours fix it?

 

entomber, i talked to him last week, he sounded very sore.....lol....but i think hes going to be alright....

 

That is good to hear. I didn't think he'd be back in the game this soon. Good to hear he is OK. Now I need to pester him on this gasket thing. I'm hoping DS650King responds.

I'm glad I'm not the only with this problem. Bigshow did you use some sort of sealant?

 

i sent mine off to gary, im not sure if he put sealent on it or not....

 

what have you guys found out? did the leaks go away?

 

hey guys I talked to gary and he agreed to send me a new head gasket and the gasketcinch he uses. I've been using the permatex copper head gasket spray and he said the stuff he is sending will work for sure. retorqueing did not help. the best thing is he sending all of the stuff for free. I thought that was pretty good. he still sounds pretty sore. Oh yea and I also order ss bolts for the whole outside of my motor. kyle

 

That's awsome. I guess I need a new gasket. Let me know when you get yours and how it works out. Also.. where do you get the SS bolts.

 

got the rest of the ss bolts I needed from Gary

 

the stuff seems odd but it also seems to work
