couldn't you almost a brand new busa and DS for that, part out everything you don't need.

Thats crazy...you can buy a brand new busa for 11,000. Their is no way in hell I would pay 15,000 for that thing. I wouldnt even pay 8000 for it. Sad thing is that it still will get its ace handed to it buy some nasty shee!. I agree people got more money then fab skills. Only good thing about it is that it is reliable. That guy made a heck of a profit off of it.lol

 

Wow! Someone paid an awful lot for that 2000 DS 650 with a used street bike motor swapped into it. I know it cost a lot of money to go fast, ... but just for perspective here:

Considering that you can buy a brand new 2005 DS 650 Viper for $5400, ... you could have bought three brand new 2005 DS 650s for about what was spent on this five year old used one.

Just yesterday I sold my 2002 Weekend Warrior FS 2600 toy hauler, which has little use, and is in absolutely preemo condition. It has a 4K Onan generator, air conditioning, on-board air compressor, on-board pump station, AM/FM/CD six speaker 300 watt sound system, satelite receiver wired in to hook your TV to, etc., etc., etc., for $1000 LESS than this used DS 650 sold for.

But think if you've already got the $$$ to throw around, want a fast & reliable quad, and don't want to hassle with someone fabricating everything to make this conversion work, it'd be a good idea to buy this quad!!!

You guys forget that some people have more $$$ than they know what to do with...like my neighbor who has 7 cars with 3 legal drivers, including a 2005 Mercedes SL65 worth 200K!!...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

I have no comment on your hyped up post but the funny thing is the guy who owns that busaDS that was there has this old yellow school bus that was goin like 50mph on hiway 50 on our way back, i found it kind of ironic how he has the fastest 4 stroke yet has that slow yellow school bus(kind of like how you think of all our DS's, right bombusa [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] )
