is the hmf a full pipe?

 

no it's not. It's a slip on for $209.99 I think.

 

So you would recomend getting a HMF pipe over a FMF powercore 4, the HMF pipe just seemed cheap i was wondering about if it fell apart or not and how loud is it i dont want it to be over 96 db if possible

 

With the QuiteCore insert (also has spark arrestor attached) installed it's about 97db. That's what I was told by HMF when I called, without QuiteCore, more like 106db. I believe this pipe give you 4 - 5 extra ponies vs. stock. Plus, the HMF is 4 lbs lighter then the stock can.

The construction looks good, I don't see how this could fall apart, considering the can has no seams. I guess I won't know until I have a couple of years on this pipe.

 

I have run the HMF for about a year now with no problems,really picks up bottom and mid range .I would definitely buy again if i was in the market for a slip-on.

 

im not sure about the ds but we use pro circiut on the pred, rm, and crf 450 and have nouthing but great power looks and all around great results
