smoked a raptor! possible?
both my friends have craptors an 03 and an 04 both are fully piped and jetted with K&n filters,
thats all i think. ever since i bought my bike they have running up and down me , finally finished my
break in period and am very compfortable with the X's size(no mods). we did 5 paved drags --i smoked both of them by
2-3 bikes every time. we even did 2nd gear starts and they got me in the beginning but i blew by once i hit 4th.
is this possible or is it these guys cant ride?

Play it down to them rather than rubbing it in [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img], then wait & watch to see how long it takes and/or what changes they make before they ask to try you again. Have you checked out hpresearch.net yet?

I don't doubt your experience, but I have an issue of ATVaction that said a piped & jetted Raptor beat a stock Baja X. It wasn't by much, but the Raptor won. It had others also, V-Force & Predator 500 I think. Baja X is my dream quad. The only problem is there isn't a dealership close anymore. Nearest dealership went out of business....

im not saying im experience at all, actually im not on the X, i have only just broke it in,
i was wondering if my bad a$$ X is that strong stock...
everytime i ride this thing i smile from ear to ear, to me this is the baddest machine alive.
the performance, stabilitly and the looks are incredible..
LOVE IT!

NickDs, Congrads on the wins. Yes the Ds is a fast bike. Not sure if your friends are bad riders or not. I did take out a few piped and jetted Raptors myself with my stock Ds on the pavement. Taking more out now that im alittle faster thanks to MR. HP.
