it would take $4,000 to build an equal to a $600 n2o kit, and then the bike would not be anywhere near as friendly to dune riding after that. if a guy wants an all around dune machine that he can work the bowls in with style, but also have fun shooting the mountain, n20 is a very practical option. its all about the fun, yes a guy with a built motor on gas or alky will have more bragging rights if he beets a guy on nos, but the guy on nos still had a hell of a good time.

I have run NOS since the early 80's on cars. I have ran NOS on the old RW's piston. It held up to about 30hp.(This was with the correct nos jetting )Anything much over it will turn the top ring lands up. I still have the piston, in a box. LOL The new pistons hold up to boost levels that will push the motor over 100hp.

The RW's 11.5 and 12.5 will both handle NOS. I just like the 11.5 because of the lower compression for higher NOS boost levels.

How if the fuel richened with the Boondocker system to avoid a lean nitrous burn?

The bottle pressure adds pressure to the carb bowl and forces the fuel out. So as bottle pressure decreases along with the amount of n20, so does the fuel. It is not suppost to cause any lean conditions.

See your teaching me something here. Fogger nozzle eh? That a similar type nozzle as say the boonys? What is the difference between the old and new styles, well besides the name? AS with what hightower said, I love the power my machine has out duning, I have no need for any more. But as I go over to feed my ego, what my machine has is an overweight problem, and since I have no concerns about this whilst I ride poeticaly through the dunes, what best to do then add 25 more horses at the touch of a button, make it feel like my machine just lost a couple hundred pounds, then ride off into the sunset after I just handed some lighter, more money spent on, ill advised gents there *****.

A fogger nozle is where the n20 and the fuel mix together and it injects the mixture into the intake. Some of the newer nozles mix together at diffrent points, etc. edelbrock e1 or e2. NOS the company....developed their fogger nozle years ago and that where it has been, they have diffrent styles now, like annualer, soft plum,. I have been real impressed with the e2 nozle from edelbrock which will end up on my ds soon enough. Your boondockers nozle thing is completely diffrent from a fogger, it is just injecting n20 into the air tube.
