DS stock sound level

Default DS stock sound level

Hey guys i have a question i saw today a DS that almost blew my ears off it had the stock exhaust but didnt have the tip on just the black muffler the tip was removed and it sounded awsome my question is does anyone have an idea on what is the db level on the pipe?

so he had no endcap..... so he just had strait pipes comming from the engine coming into a 5 inch canister making it louder...LOL be way over 100db

Yes it seemed that way I had to plug my ears i have no idea how the guy can run that thing like that. Sounded awsome though .

Default DS stock sound level

i took all of the guts out of my stock pipe, baffle, spark arrester, and packing. i took a peice of 2 3/8" od pipe and slid it in the silencer, and moded my end cap like redbomber did with the rolled exhaust tip. it sounds great! it almost sounds like a small block chevy! i think i need to work on the jetting a little though.it made a noticable power diferance to.
