Your kidding right ????? 1/4 mile drags ????? Against a piped & geared Banshee ????
Leave you DS in the garage and go watch.......... unless you switch the gearing to a 1 tooth over on the front. and maybe get a 38 or 36 tooth for the rear also!
With out better gearing youll be at the top of the RPMs in no time and watching them pass you by...
Even if you had the gears , youll have a problem with no horse power to pull em ...

Seriously , just go have fun and get some seat time... your at a disadvantage with your setup against the Shee but the other stock bikes itll be close if ya ride it right ??

Yeah, get you some seat time......on the seat of your DS while you're going down the track!!!!!!!!

Prozack, why would you even tell someone to sit on the sidelines instead of having some fun??? NOT COOL!!!!

Put your stock 16 tooth sprocket back on and hammer down!!!!

You probably won't fair well against a modded Banshee, but I'd bet the 450's and Rappies will know you are there.

Sorry ... I didnt mean maliciously ... What I MEANT when I said get some seat time was to get it on the DS like you said! But I F-ed up and didnt type it so I deserve that !

Whoops....

But Im serious about that matchup with the shee, The DS would still be at the disadvantage and thats the brunt of my message.

That sounds much better. lol

A lot of it depends on what pipes the shee has, if they're CPI or Toomey you will definately have odds against you. But with a lesser midrange type pipe you may be surprised!!!!

You shouldn't even be close to 83 mph with 14/40 gearing at 7900 rpms.

Best I can remember it takes 15/40 gearing with 22" tires and around 8300 rpms to get 83 mph.

But I may be wrong. LOL

Well i did hit 83mph on my GPS and its bouncing off the rev limiter at 7900rpm's i got 22 inch bearclaws on the back and it barely pulls to 7900rpm with 15 tooth front sprocket but when it does its 82-83mph and with a 16 tooth front i cant even come close to pulling it i can only get about 7400rpms................................... i just did some 1/4 mile drag racing on a highway i marked off the distance with gps the best i could get was 17 seconds and my speed was 76.8mph
