sprockets combinations?

Default sprockets combinations?

does anybody know from experience what spocket combinations i can get without changing my chain.i was thinking maybe a 17-38 setup?

any input is appreciated

17-40 should work - you will have to take some material off the case saver. And you will need some good power for a 2nd hear launch.

do you drag race your quad.? im starting to set mine up for drag racing. you got any tips?

17-38 will work and thats about the limit. Next youll have to remove links in the chain. If your running 18 or 20 in rear tires that should be fine for 2nd gear launches but if you run 22s in the rear then what ANNIHILATER says is true about needing extra HP. If your going to run the drags mostly then you might want to think of going another direction with your gears like a 15 - ? combo.
Theres plenty of guys on the board that mostly drag.. listen to them they know their sh&t.

You might want to list your mods and perhaps what kind of drags your getting into Sand, Dirt, Asphalt? Is it 300ft drags 1/8 mile ?? or just for bragging rights with your buds?

ron woods cdi
jetted
dynojet kit

future plans

carbon fiber clutch
boondockers nitrous
tm 45 and ported intake


then maybe high comp piston



im going to drag it at marion county drag way. pavement
cams and valves, and springs
