make sure you grease the shaft and the seal before you put it together. If you do not it will leak. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I use a small thin screwdriver, wrap electrical tape all around it to prevent scratching of the countershaft, stick it in between the seal lip and the shaft, and it pries right out. just tape the driver and be gentle and avoid any scratching of the countershaft at all costs!

 

When I changed my seal, the spring that is in the seal stayed in the motor when I took the seal out, so watch out for that
